German Delegation's Cultural and Economic Exploration in Armenia organized by Honorary Consulate

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Saxony organized a familiarization visit to Armenia from April 12-16, 2023. The delegation, comprising German businessmen, politicians, and scientists, was led by Honorary Consul Professor Lucas Flöter and the President of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, Dr. Gunnar Schellenberger. Upon their arrival in Yerevan on April 12, 2023, the delegation met with Levon Hovhannisyan, the acting mayor of Yerevan, along with his team.
They also held discussions at the Agrarian University of Armenia, where Rector Vardan Urutyan and delegation member Professor Thomas Glauben signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and was hosted by the German Embassy in Armenia.
The group also paid their respects at Tsitsernakaberd, honoring the memory of the genocide victims, and toured several notable Armenian sites, including Sevanavank, Garni, Geghard, and Matenadaran.
