Cultural bridges between East and West: Armenia as guest of honor at the 6th European Soirée in Leipzig

On May 7, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia organized the sixth European Soirée in the event hall at the Market Square in Leipzig, in cooperation with the Institut Français, the Polish Institute, the European Foundation of the Rahn Dittrich Group for Education and Culture, and the Europa-Haus.
The evening was held under the title:
“With Joy through Europe: Music and Poetry in Dialogue.”
This year, Armenia participated as the guest of honor, building a bridge between East and West by presenting Armenian poetry and music.
The Armenian cultural delegation was represented by Armine Sargsyan, Artem Sargsyan, and Elen Arakelyan; the French delegation by Marielle Aubé and Nicolas Porcher Jouve; and the Polish delegation by Paulina Schulz.
The opening speech was delivered by Zuzanna Kucharski-Huniat, Vice-Chair of the European Foundation of the Rahn Dittrich Group for Education and Culture.
At the end of the event, guests were treated to culinary specialties and beverages from Armenia, Germany, France, and Poland.
