Armenian Identity and Belonging: Sirarpi Movsisyan's Presentation at the 16th AIEA Conference in Switzerland

Sirarpi Movsisyan, Head of the Office of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Saxony, participated in the 16th General Conference of the Association Internationale des Etudes Arméniennes, held at the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne in Switzerland from January 9 to 11. At the conference, she delivered a lecture on "Counters of Identity: Navigating the Complexities among the Armenians in Germany" and presented an analysis of her research data on the discourse of identity and belonging among Armenians in Germany.

As part of the conference, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Switzerland, Hasmik Tolmajyan, hosted the participants at the Armenian Embassy. In her welcome speech, she highly praised the academic contributions and emphasized that all attending researchers were giving their best for their homeland. Sirarpi Movsisyan also attended the reception alongside other conference participants.
