35 Years of Peaceful Revolution: Armenian Delegation Explores Leipzig's Future Projects

To mark the 35th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution, the city of Leipzig organized a special program for the Armenian delegation on 9 October. The delegation included David Gevorgyan from the Yerevan city administration and Sirarpi Movsisyan from the Honorary Consulate, accompanied by Dr. Caren Marusch-Krohn from the Leipzig city administration. Their first stop was the Smart City Lab, an interactive exhibition where the guests explored the city's energy plan and urban planning designs for Matthäikirchhof in a virtual reality environment.

They then joined the other delegations for a guided tour of Leipzig's democratic history and the Peaceful Revolution at Matthäikirchhof.
